Welcome to the new blog, it's about time right!?   What better time than Winter to finally launch my blog.  So far, 2012 is off to an amazing start.  I shot my first wedding of the year last weekend and it was amazing.  Lot's of exciting things coming this year as well!

First up, this Spring, I will be hosting my first workshop!  I am very excited about this. The workshop will be focusing on my landscape work.  I will be covering the essentials such as: composition, light, what rules to stick by and when to break them, long exposures, working with filters in the field, and post processing techniques.  Stay tuned for dates and details in the coming weeks!

In July, I will be presenting my landscape work and techniques at the Hartford Pug meeting.  I was honored to be asked by the amazing Carla Ten Eyck! I gotta tell ya that I am a bit nervous at the thought of speaking publicly for an hour though!  I did get a chance to attend the January meeting and it was awesome to meet so many of my collegues whose work I admire.  Good times!

Wedding season is almost here and I am looking forward it!  Last year I shot (and second shot) over 25 weddings, this year is also looking good!  I am looking forward to pursuing new conceptual portraits mixing my landscape style with traditional Bride and Groom portraits.

Thanks for stopping by!  Please leave a comment if you enjoyed the blog!
